Free pediatric therapyfor children in Kenya
ViaThera Bridge receives 50% of the ViaThera Global Fund — built session by session through the ViaThera booking fee families pay when they book. Those funds pay local Kenyan therapists to provide free therapy to children with disabilities and consultation to organizations serving them.
Starting in Nairobi, Kenya · Launching 2027–2028
Two critical gaps in Kenya
Children without therapy + organizations without support
In Nairobi, Kenya, thousands of children with cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, developmental delays, and other disabilities grow up without ever receiving occupational therapy, physical therapy, or speech-language therapy.
It's not that therapists don't exist — it's that families cannot afford them. A single therapy session in Nairobi costs 2,000–3,000 Kenyan shillings ($15–25 USD). For families living on less than $100 per month, this is impossible.
At the same time, NGOs, schools, orphanages, and community programs serving children with disabilities lack access to therapy consultation. Staff want to help but don't know how.
ViaThera Bridge addresses both gaps — funding individual therapy for children AND consultation services for organizations — creating sustainable, multiplied impact.

Direct therapy + consultation
One program, two ways to create lasting impact for children with disabilities.
Direct therapy track
Local Kenyan therapists provide free therapy sessions directly to children with disabilities whose families cannot afford services.
How it works
- Church partners identify families with children (0–21) with disabilities
- ViaThera matches family with licensed Kenyan OT/PT/SLP
- Child receives 12 free therapy sessions (weekly for 3 months)
- Therapist paid $30 per 45-min session from Bridge fund
- After 3 months, child re-evaluated; family can reapply
Cost: $360 per child (12 sessions)
Impact: 1 child receives transformative therapy
Consultation track
Local Kenyan therapists consult with NGOs, schools, orphanages, and community programs to train staff and improve services for children with disabilities.
How it works
- Organization applies (NGOs, schools, orphanages in Nairobi)
- ViaThera matches them with qualified Kenyan OT/PT/SLP consultant
- Therapist provides 8–10 hours of consultation (in-person + virtual)
- Services: staff training, program development, environmental assessment
- Therapist paid $40 per 1-hour consultation from Bridge fund
Cost: $320–400 per organization (8–10 hours)
Impact: 20–50 children benefit through trained staff
Both tracks, maximum impact
Direct Therapy serves individual children deeply (1:1 care). Consultation serves many children broadly (staff training). Together, they create sustainable community-wide transformation.
